TOP MODEL

Our Top Model Competition is a great way to build your portfolio and have a photo shoot with our National Photographer - Catherine Fiehn Photography.

Fee: $150. Limit 1 entry.

CASUAL WEAR

Choose an outfit that shows off your personality and sense of style in this upbeat on-stage modeling competition.  No cocktail dresses.  Outfits should be off the rack.

Fee: $100 per entry.  Limit 2 entries.

SPOKESMODEL

Delegates will deliver a 60 to 90 second speech about a cause, their personal platform, or subject that is important to them. 

Fee: $100. Limit 1 entry.​

NUS WEAR

Red, white, or blue outfit that shows your personality in this fun upbeat on-stage modeling competition.  Outfit can be as fancy as you like - cocktail, romper, hi-low - the choice is yours.  No costumes, swimsuits, or props are allowed.

Fee: $100. Limit 1 entry.

ACTIVEWEAR

Your choice of age-appropriate workout activewear outfit to model is this upbeat on-stage modeling competition.  Suggested items for activewear outfits are leggings, biker shorts, capris, athletic shorts, sports bra/tanks, t-shirts, etc. with sneakers or athletic shoes.  No bra tops or swimsuits allowed.

Fee: $100. Limit 1 entry.

PHOTOGENIC

Submit a color or black & white photo - can be headshot, closeup, full body

Fee: $100 per photo. Limit 2 photos.

PORTFOLIO

Delegates will submit 6 to 8 photos in a digital modeling portfolio.  Can be any combination of editorial photos with and/or without your NUS state crown and sash.  Editorial photos are those that could appear in a publication, magazine, sales ads, etc. 

Fee: $125. Limit 1 entry.

STAR MODEL

Do you have what it takes to be a star in modeling?  Our Star Model competition is based on entries for:

• Casual Wear

• Photogenic

• Top Model

Delegates must enter all three optional competitions listed above and enter the Star Model optional competition.

Entry Fee: $75.  Limit 1 entry.

EXCELLENCE AWARD

Delegates who participate in Optional Competitions during the National Pageant, can earn the NUS Excellence Award by earning 5 credits or more.  The Excellence Award is a great keepsake for all your hard work and performances during Nationals.  Addition information to qualify is listed in the National Delegate Handbook.

SPOTLIGHT PAGE CONTEST

Delegates who sell Spotlight Pages for the National Pageant Program will receive one of our Spotlight Page Titles or Award based on the number of pages they sell.  This optional provides an opportunity for delegates to have additional pages for good luck wishes in the national program and to showcase their state title, personal platform, community service, sponsors, supporters, etc.  Spotlight Pages are $200 per page.  Additional information to qualify is listed in the National Delegate Handbook​
