OPTIONAL & ADDITIONAL AWARDS
At the National United States Scholarship Pageant we want to showcase and acknowledge the achievements of our contestants. The following Optional and Additional Awards will be presented in additional to our regular competition awards at the National Pageant. Optional awards have an additional fee to enter.

PHOTOGENIC AWARD
Optional Award
Contestants can enter up to 2 photos. There is an additional entry fee to compete for the Photogenic Award. Winners will be selected for each division: Elementary, Jr. High, High School, and Collegiate.

CROWN PHOTOGENIC AWARD
Optional Award
Contestants can enter up to 2 photos in their crown and sash or crown. There is an additional entry fee to compete for the Crown Photogenic Award. Winners will be selected for each division: Elementary, Jr. High, High School, and Collegiate.

PORTFOLIO AWARD
Optional Award
The Portfolio Award will be awarded to contestants who enter 2 photogenic photos and 2 crown photogenic photos.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Optional Award
The Academic Achievement Awards are to recognize contestants in each division for outstanding achievement in academics, grades, honors, awards, and school involvement. Academic success, grade point average (GPA), awards, honors, school organizations or clubs, and school sports will all be considered for the Academic Achievement Awards.
AMBASSADOR OF CHANGE
Optional Award
The Ambassador of Change Award recognize outstanding national contestants for their work and contributions to their personal platform and community service in each division.

Optional Award
The Gold Star of Excellence Award is awarded to contestants who enter all four Optional Awards.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Additional Award
We encourage our titleholders to be actively involved giving back to their community and volunteering. We want to recognize contestants who do outstanding volunteer service. Community Service Awards are based on service and volunteer work our contestants do with their state titles. The top 3 in each division will be recognized with Community Service Awards and the top in each division will be awarded the Outstanding Community Service Awards.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Additional Award
The Social Media Award recognizes a contestant in each division who does an outstanding job promoting the pageant on social media. Overall quality of posts, number of followers, and use of our pageant hashtag.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE
Additional Award
Voted on by family and friends on our website prior to the National Pageant.
$1 per vote

SOCIAL MEDIA FAN FAVORITE
Additional Award
Contestant photos will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages closer to Nationals and contestant with the most combined likes in each division will be awarded the Social Media Fan Favorite Award
